Amusing decor. Mediocre over priced bbq

BBQ is good, I like our Turkeys smoked there during holidays. Also the Sausages are good, and there smoked chicken is good as well. The BBQ sauce is good pouring over whatever.

There is only one place to get great barbecue an this is it .... And if it's pie you desire this place is to die for... These lady's can cook order anything you will not go wrong...

I love the service, friendly people the brisket was great, awesome homemade pies especially the chocolate next time will try the coconut pie.

Great food and accommodations! Love the old time charm of this little place! The ladies who were there are so sweet and the service was great and fast!! Oh, the pie is extra good! So if you are interested in a nice little break from the large chain restaurant with the same old thing, give them a try!

Got the brisket nachos... delicious!! The staff was so friendly and nice. Bathrooms were super clean too!! Always a sign of a place that cares. First time eating here but definitely not my last. I even got a couple pounds to bring home for my family.

SO yummy! BEST BBQ around! Good, fast service. Wish it was open later in the summer and they ran out of pie (which is the BEST in the county), but otherwise you can't do better! Moderately priced and good selection of yummy side items. Cute signs and decor. Friendly people. Been in business many, many years - truly a staple of the community!

Good old fashioned bbq

Got a bbq chopped sandwich and it was dry and you could tell it had been sitting around awhile and had a strong pepper taste potatoes salad taste like it had lots of mustard will not eat there again

Dry chickenToo much mustard in potato salad Rice dressing was loaded with pepper inedible. But they seemed to be nice people and the baked beans were great so 2 stars for that.I'm from Louisiana so there is a difference between seasoned rice dressing and loaded with pepper. My heart started feeling funny after eating a little bit of the dressing. I love spicy food and I am in impeccable shape. Hopefully it was just an off day for the kitchen staff.

Not as good as I remember. Chopped beef was dry and the potatoe salad was kind of watery. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was entirely too spicy, and the customer service is awful. We ordered a slice of pie for her little cousin and I had to ask the waitress to cut a slice after she had already brought out our food. My wife asked one of the employees where the water was and they just looked at her stupid. Then they filled a container full of hot tap water. Price is definitely NOT worth the sub par taste you are getting for the food.

Excellent food and excellent people.

They've been GREAT for the 30 something years they've been in business. They aim to please. I went in after work, told them my schedule...I wanted food now, was picking up Grandsons in 2 hours and their Mother would be in later....needed food for all and needed food that would still be tasty with that schedule. They asked a couple of questions, fixed me something for everyone that would last and told me how to prepare it when the others were ready to eat. FANTASTICDickey's BBQ in Lumberton couldn't and wouldn't be bothered with my dilemma when I stopped by there. They seemed irritated but West Texas went beyond helpful.

Food was good . had brisket and chicken plate. A little slow getting to the table but otherwise i had no complaints.

Hello my husband stopped there today 8-5-19 to grab us a quick sandwich. My order was one slice beef sandwich and one chopped beef sandwich wellllll....we got mush meat sandwiches they look like they was the scraping they put together. WE ARE SO NOT HAPPY CAMPERS.😤😠😡

Has a wonderful staff, great personality and is family owned. Oh the brisket, pulled pork and sausage are excellent as well. The barbecue sauce is out of this world goodness. Food made with love for sure.

Great briscuit and clean

Truly dry meats, I came here so hungry I didn't feel like complaining I just muffed it down without pleasure. I ordered sliced brisket and it crumbled apart with no moisture to be seen. The chicken was so over smoked it tasted sour and the sides were palatable but not impressive. Won't return.

Has very good employees and good barbecue

Stopped here while traveling through the area. Friendly staff but found the food to be pricey and not impressive. Pulled pork was dry and potato salad very bland.

Brisket was real good - probably best I've ever had. Cole slaw not so. Beans and potato salad good. Didn't encounter any of those mean women.

Not much flavor or smoke at all on any of the meats. Tried sausage, pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. Ribs were just ok. Pulled pork just awful. Soupy coleslaw. Pies are decent.

They microwaved my daughter's chicken and everything was dry (brisket and sausage). Rolls were the only good part. I would not recommend.

Extremely good BBQ. Their turkey breast was the best we ever had. Lean brisket and sausage were excellent. This is now one of our favorite places to eat.
